COVID-19 has been a part of our lives since 2020. Although restrictions have changed a lot since the beginning of the pandemic, it remains just as important to stay vigilant in knowing how to protect yourself from Coronavirus and what you can do to help reduce the spread.
Wet hands first, put soap on your hands, lather thoroughly interlocking and rubbing hands together, continue to wash under water for 15-20 seconds, rinse hands under water, dry hands.
Although masks are not mandatory, it is strongly recommended that you still wear one when you can't physically distance.
The largest cause of infection is when droplets containing the virus are transmitted through the air. Maintaining a physical distance from other people greatly reduces the risk of spread.
Different Journeys would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the different lands on which we meet today. We respect all Aboriginal Elders past and present We aim to collaborate with our Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander friends in the autistic community to connect, empower and support each other and exchange isolation, prejudice and ignorance with connections, hope and community. We acknowledge that the connection to autism and lived experience is our common ground. We acknowledge, respect and maintain that our custodians have cultivated these lands and we continue to learn together.
