Different Journeys delivers peer-support based social, recreational, and educational events for autistic and neurodiverse teenagers and young adults to gather and celebrate their lives.

Our events are designed by, with, and for young people. They are designed to overcome the crippling isolation that many autistic and neurodiverse young people experience. They are purposefully constructed to build confidence and develop independence. This facilitates the development of an array of skills including leadership, communication, interpersonal and teamwork capabilities.

With the guidance of our mentors and supporters, young people work together to plan our celebration events and projects. This builds friendships, life skills and job readiness. It also saves lives amongst a vulnerable cohort of our shared community

Different Journeys is all about empowerment and inclusion. Everything we do is focused on connecting and giving a voice to our isolated and excluded young people. We address the isolation, anxiety and powerlessness our neurodiverse community experience with fellowship, a place of belonging and a place to speak out loudly and proudly.
