I am “mum” to Bailey & Holly who are both autistic. Over the last 14 years I have been networking with families with autistic children. Bailey and I have been attending Different Journey events since 2016 at both teen and adult events making long-term, genuine friendships. I love working with the team at Different Journeys with my administration skills to be able to give back to a community who have given us so much in return through volunteering, job opportunities and advocacy with the autism sector. In my spare time you’ll find me gardening, cooking, researching herbs, drinking lots of tea, maybe scrapbooking or knitting/crocheting and collecting anything related to 80s music, Betty Boop, Baby Yoda, Minions, the Muppets or Drag Queens!
