Leah is a parent of four, two of whom are autistic. As president of Bendigo Autism Aspergers Group (BAAG) its been great to join forces with Different Journeys and share our shared visions. I am current school council president of Bendigo Special Developmental School and Ambassador for Marist College Parent Partnership Initiative. I’m really passionate about providing opportunities for the Bendigo area to better support our autism and carer communities. Leah has extensive experience in advocating for her own children and want to share these learning with others.
In the spirit of reconciliation, Different Journeys acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
